It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Leo Rankin of Port Hastings, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Archie Rankin and Mary Rankin; his wife Rosalind (MacIntrye); his children, Heather Rankin (Robert), Melissa Rankin, Andrew Rankin (Sara), Christian Rankin (Jessie) and Meriah Rankin; his granddaughter Ruby of Halifax; his siblings, Louise Marie MacArthur (Ray), Jessica MacLellan (Daniel), Cathleen Seamone (Paul), Carmel Raymond (Andy), Kimberley MacInnis (John), Reginald (Chris), John Archie (Anne Marie), Randall (Jeanette), Xavier (Sarah) and Michael (Heidi); his son Liam; and his sister Maureen MacKenzie (Ronald).
