He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hirtle and Mildred Hirtle (Robar); his brother Robert Hirtle; his brother-in-law John Lohnes; and his sister Shirley Oickle (Debney).
He is survived by: his wife Rose-Marie Lohnes; his daughter Alana Hirtle; his stepdaughters, Krista Mallory (Marc Trottier) and Toni Pollmann (Jody); his stepgranddaughter Mallory (Tony Drolet); his sister-in-law Debbie Hirtle; his nephew Reece Hirtle (Ashley Oliver); his sister Sandra Rogerson (Joe); and his sister-in-law Joanne Lohnes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephew, and cousins.
