He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Douglas and Lillian Douglas (McGuire); and his sisters, Elizabeth 'Betty Wilson, Helen 'Diggy' and Matilda 'Tilly'.
He is survived by: his niece Judy Hislop; his nephew Charlie Pearce (Sylvester); his great-nieces, Kelly (John), Ottawa, Jan and Waterside; and his friend Bill Hislop.
