She was predeceased by: her father Gordon Stephens; and her grandparents, Frank, Martha Denny, Dan and Rita Stephens.

She is survived by: her mother Diane Denny; her children, Victoria Denny (Garrett), Joey Denny (Taylor), Sequoyah Denny (Melissa) of Arichat, Hope Denny of Halifax and Kevin Denny; her granddaughter Paisley; her brothers, Gordon Denny (Gordie) of Shubenacadie, William Lewis of Shubenacadie, Adrian Lewis of Shubenacadie, Shawn Stephens of Millbrook, Daniel Stephens of Millbrook and Chad Stephens of Millbrook; and her godmother Darlene Bachari. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Donations in memory of Stephanie may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital .
