He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Cheverie and Jean Cheverie Doiron; and his sister Edna MacNeil. He is survived by: his wife Laura-May Cheverie; his daughter Kaitlin Alma Jean Cheverie; and his siblings, Pete Cheverie (Faye), George (Sharon) and Catherine Madore.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Canadian Cancer Society or the Pictou County VON.
