It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Scott Raymond Thorne (Pictou, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 24, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Thorne; his stepfather Ralph Peckham; and his father-in-law Joseph O'Hearn. He is survived by: his wife Angela; his sons, Daniel (Home) and Cecil (Dartmouth); his mother Brenda Thorne-Peckham; his sister Stacey Pettipas (Kevin); his mother-in-law Janice O'Hearn; his siblings-in-law, Dale MacCarthy (Steven) and David O'Hearn (Bea); his nieces and nephews, Sydney (Robbie), Evan, Alanah (Evan), Skyler, Jeremy (Megan) and Cassidy (Steve); his great-nephew Weston; and his pet Lucy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 16, Pictou.
