Ruth Ryan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ryan (Pictou, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 16, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Pineau (Wedge) and Andrew Pineau; her daughter Julia; and her son-in-law Stephen Moriarity. She is survived by: her children, Patsy (Robert), Bert (Maureen), Bill, Helen, Louis and Debbie (Billy); and her sister Linda MacPhail (George). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McLaren Funeral Home (246 Faulkland St, Pictou, NS B0K 1H0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church (26 St Stephen St, Pictou, NS B0K1H0).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oddfellows Nursing Home Activities Fund or to Stella Maris Church.
