He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Rae and Sadie Rae; his brothers, Ronnie and Billy; his parents-in-law, Seibert and Eileen Falconer; and his brother-in-law Jimmie Falconer.

He is survived by: his wife Susan (Falconer); his daughter Wanda Ross (Ian); his grandchildren, Alex, Ethan and Ava; his daughter Christa Poirier (Peter); his granddaughters, Kayla, Danielle and Holli; his brother David (Maxine); his sister-in-law Dale Morris (Richard); his close friend Leroy Goodall; and his little buddy Skippy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
