He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Battist of Waterside; and his brother-in-law Fred Langille. He is survived by: his mother Jean Battist; his sisters, Kay Langille, Haliburton and Elizabeth Battist; his children, Chris Battist, Salt Springs, Tanya Lyons and Lyons Brook; his niece Jennifer (Rob); and his nephews, Ryan Langille, Haliburton, Matthew Hughes, Red Deer and Michael Hughes.
