He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Steele and Laura Steele (Farrell); and his siblings, Lois Fanning (Lester), Laverne Battist (Ronnie), Chesel (Eva), Garfield (Lillian), Lester (Sandra), Billy (Helen) and Johnny Steele.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa (Thorne); his daughters, Belinda Steele (Lester) of Pictou, Terri-Lee MacLellan (Randy) of River John, Leisa Steele of Pictou and Trina Steele (Ross) of Pictou; his grandchildren, Rachelle, Samantha, Alyssa, Nadine, Randi-Lee, Ryan, Shelby and Riley; his great grandchildren, Reese, Kayleigh, Abbeigh, Jackson, Audrey-Lee, Carter, Borden, Tucker, Spencer, Raiden and Theo; and his friend Dr. Randy Burrill. He is also survived by his girls, his nieces and nephews.
