He is survived by: his father James Gillis of New Glasgow; his grandfather David Denny (Markie) of Pictou Landing; his siblings, Jesse Denny of Pictou Landing, Aiden Denny of Pictou Landing, Bryson Denny of Pictou Landing, Austin Levi (Destiny) of Pictou Landing, Mark Augustine of Pictou Landing, Cynthia Denny of Pictou Landing and Davonia Augustine of Pictou Landing; his aunts and uncles, Cindy, Sandra Denny of Pictou Landing, Cheyenne Julian of Paqtnkek, Jeffery Denny, Leroy Denny (Natasha) of Pictou Landing and Catherine Gillis of Alma; his close friends, Daniel Prosper of Pictou Landing and Felicia Paul of Indian Brook; his godparents, Laura Prosper of Pictou Landing and Gordie Denny; his cousins, Kathleen, Angeline, Charlie, Chasity, Christina, Conner, David, Jordon, Jake and Grayson; his nephews, Lucas, Drayson and Braven; his niece Deidre; and his great-nephew Arlo.
A prayer was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 5:30 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church (6533 Pictou Landing Rd, Pictou, NS B0K1H0).
