She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Hiltz and Willow Hiltz (Langille); her husband Joseph I. Dorey; her son Grandville Bayne; her children-in-law, Joanne Dorey and Kenny Anderson; and her siblings, Basil, Carmen, Russell and Leona.

She is survived by: her children, Allan Dorey, Arlene Anderson, Marie Dorey, Ronald 'Ronnie Dorey, Lawrence Dorey and Glen Dorey (Cindy); and her sisters, Elsie and Esther. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
