It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Gordon McAloney (Pictou, Nova Scotia), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Dorothea; his wife Mary Louise (Robinson); his stepchildren, Debbie, Murray and Robert; his sister Ellen; and his brother-in-law Eric Kellock.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Cindy Barkhouse (Bayne), Lyons Brook, John Littler (Lorie) of Parry Sound, ON and Melody Fraser (Darrell); his daughter-in-law Cindy Littler (Parry Sound); his daughter Velma Hancock; and his siblings, Joyce LeBlanc (John), Gordon (Cathy), Mary Kellock, James (Sandy), Regina and Cecil (Karla). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McLaren Funeral Home Chapel (246 Faulkland St, Pictou, NS B0K 1H0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
