He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Daisy (Thompson); his brothers, Murray and Richard; and his grandson Nicholas Falconer.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou (Kerr) of Sundridge; his daughter Kim (Jim) of Seabright; his grandchildren, Nick, Raegan and Connor; his son Sandy (Barb) of Windsor Junction; his grandchildren, Rhyan and Mason; his stepdaughter Catherine (Dwayne) of Caribou River; his stepgrandson Matthew; his stepson Thomas (Renee) of Sparwood, BC; his stepgrandsons, Steven and Ian; and his close friend Sutherland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
