It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Teresa MacNeill (Pictou, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 3, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Orvis MacNeill; and her siblings, Anne Gardiner (Alberta), Rita Gillis (Pinevale), Mary Glenn (Frank), Colin Chisholm (Mary Alice) and Lauchlin Chisholm (Dorothy).
She is survived by: her children, Coleen MacNeill (Marc Anctil), Lauranne Matheson (Henry), Ottawa, Elaine MacNeill (Doug Thompson), Maura MacNeill (Glenn Richard), Maryanne MacDonald (Aaron), Lee MacNeill (Joan Brennan), Greg MacNeill (Marjorie McConnell), Colin MacNeill (Beth Munro), Caribou, Blaise MacNeill (Karen Langille) and Michael MacNeill (Betty Crossman); her sister Theresa MacDonald (Daniel "Dannie"); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Chisholm. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her family regrets that, because of the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, we are unable to gather with those who knew and loved Kaye.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kaye's name to the Stephen Lewis Foundation, Doctors Without Borders (MSF), or the charity of your choice.
