He was predeceased by: his parents, John Prosper Sr. and Agnes Prosper (Nicholas); his son Christopher Prosper; his siblings, Henery, Joey, Arthur, Stan, Margret, Audry and Madeline; and his grandchildren, Terrance Priest and Chelsea Lynn Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his siblings, Freda, Caroline and Cyrl; his children, Steven, Walter (Greta), John Daniel, Aaron (Lindsey), Donna, Laurie, Karen, Joanne and Nancy; his godchildren, Sally Duff, Simon Prosper and Leroy Denny; and his brother Terry Prosper (Mary).
