In loving memory of Jean Henderson (Pictou, Nova Scotia), who departed this world on December 30, 2024 at the age of 98. Jean leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Willie and Matilda Sutherland (Allister Henderson) of Toney River; her husband Allister; her son Gary; and her siblings, Austin, Florence, Edna and Hazel.
She is survived by: her daughter Gloria (Richy Gammon); her daughter-in-law Darlene; her grandchildren, Dana (Sarah), Ryan (Julie-Anne), Amanda (Chad Bolton), Laura (Jamie Maxwell) and Matthew (Jenna); her great grandchildren, Paige, Carter, Callie, Brody, Grayson and Theo; and her sister-in-law Margie Schmitt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McLaren Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. David's Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. David's Presbyterian Church, Toney River or River Bank Cemetery in Toney River.
