He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred MacNeil and Hazel MacNeil (Kiggens); his wife Edna (Cheverie); his daughter Shan Marie; and his siblings, Peter, Ethel and Etta.
He is survived by: his children, David (Alice), Shari Redmond (Gary) of Pictou, Steven (Nancy) and Dean (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Shae-Lyn (Riley Redmond), Jared, Xander (Hunter MacNeil), Melanie and Patrick (Caleb MacNeil).
