She was predeceased by: her brothers, Barry, Peter and Mark; and her children, Richard and Karen.

She is survived by: her husband Tudor Hughes (Taff); her children, Sharon and Sian (Abel); her grandchildren, Zachary (Terri), Cadi, Reese and Dylan; her siblings, Shelia, Susan, Eric and Linda; and her sister-in-law Dilys. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Unit at the Aberdeen Hospital or take the time to reach out to a loved one you haven't spoken to in a while.
