She was predeceased by: her father James Coburn MacLaggan; and her husband Eric Smith. She is survived by: her mother Isabel MacLaggan (Archibald) of Bathurst; her children, Dr. Joshua Smith (Tiara Folkes) of Ottawa, Erika Smith (Jordan Wilson) of New Glasgow and Torey Smith (Danny Carson) of Fredericton; and her siblings, Donald MacLaggan (Janet) of Bathurst and Nancy McKay (Don) of Fredericton.
