With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklyn Stanley MacKay (Pictou, Nova Scotia), born in River John, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 15, 2020 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Franklyn Stanley MacKay to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector MacKay and Jean MacKay (Henry); his siblings, David, Charles, Gordon, Donnie, John and Louise Tamlyn; his son-in-law Greg McNamara; and his grandson Kenny McNamara.

He is survived by: his wife Alexina "Jemima"; his children, Frank (Trudy), Jo-Anne, Nancy (Mike) and Darlene (Kevin); his grandchildren, Derrick (Susan), Michael (Nancy), Robert (Jennifer), Bryan (Laura), Chris (Sherri), Trevor, Tanya (Stephen), Bradley (Ashley), Shannon (Matt), Mandy (Thomas) and Amanda Cornett; and his siblings-in-law, Janice and Colin MacIsaac. He is also survived by 22 great grandchildren.

Donations in Frank's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Pictou West Food Bank.
