She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Nearing and Eugenie Nearing; her siblings, Sheldon, Russel, Philip and Charlotte; her husband Joseph Ernest Whalen; her children, Mitchell, David, Karen, Nancy and Marc; her grandchildren, Keegan, Nicholas, Erin, Evan, Coleman and Catriona; and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Robie, August, Lilly, Thomas, Gemma and Jason.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patrick, Sheila, Sharon, Marion, Laura and Viola.
