As Elva Irene departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elva Irene may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elva Irene leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Finley Langille and Isabelle Langille (Redmond). She is survived by: her son Peter (Jeanette); her grandsons, Burton (Annie) and Michael (Melanie); her sister Irene MacMillan (Gerald); and her cousin Lorne Redmond (Barb). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
