She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. Barnard and Laura B. Barnard (Lowden); her daughter Janice; her siblings, Frank, David and Esther; and her siblings-in-law, Elmo K. Gammon, Alden Beck and Donna Barnard.

She is survived by: her children, Russell of Fergus, ON, Douglas (Isabelle), Gary (Sherri) of Edmonton, AB and Gayle Nelson (David); her great grandchildren, Jensen, Cale, Andrew and Iris; her niece Peggy (Michael); her nephew Ian (Shana); her great-nephews, Robert and Christopher; her niece Barb Gammon Wright (John); her cousin Margie Schmitt; and also Jenny Barnard.
