He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Laffin and Evangeline Laffin; his siblings, Nicky, Bill, Michael and Linda; and his parents-in-law, Hilbert, Viola Jessome, Bun Jessome, Sonny Slade, Wilson Mansfield, Emma Crosby and Alma Jerrett.

He is survived by: his wife Judy (Jessome); his children, Dwayne (Teena) and Tammy; his grandchildren, Hannah (Gage) and Nicholas; his great grandchild Milo; his siblings, Terry, Ronnie (Beth), Alex (Bettie) and Gerry (Pat); his siblings-in-law, Simon Jessome, Dennis Crosby (Sandra), Terry Jerrett, Doreen Slade, Anne Selfridge (Bob), Phyllis Mansfield and Marg Jessome; and also Janice Laffin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
