He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Rushton; his daughters, Marilyn Fanjoy and Sheri-Lynn Knoblauch; and his siblings, Eva Rushton, Helen MacDonald, Edna Miller, Hazel Miller, Dorothy MacNeil, Roy, Orland, Lloyd and Harold.
He is survived by: his parent Lily Rushton (Doyle); his children, Gerald (Cynthia), Gary, Diane and Darlene (Phillip); and his former wife Margaret (Wright). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
