With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Ann MacIntosh (Pictou, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 6, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles; her daughter Linda Sullivan (Jack); her sister Joan Roddick (William); her sisters-in-law, Marion McCara (Andrew) and Isabelle Swantee (Levi); and her extended family Orrin Johnson (Mary).
She is survived by: her son Larry (Wendy); her son-in-law Jack Sullivan; her grandchildren, Donald Sullivan (Kelsie), Paddy Sullivan (Shirley), Meaghan Marzyk (Ryder) of Dauphin, MB and Conor Sullivan (Rebecca); her stepgrandchildren, Alan Poole (Dora) and Megan Hamilton (Mike); her great grandchildren, Ryland, Morgan, Willow, Ava, Farrin, Charlie and Rory; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Fayth, Carma, Jaxon Poole, Logan and Rory Hamilton; and her siblings, Patsy McCara (Gerald), Waterside, Margaret LeBlanc (Lawrence) and Waterside. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Pictou County Palliative Care Society or the SPCA.
