With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donna Marion Mawhinney (Pictou, Nova Scotia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Albert Mason and Patricia Nora Thompson; her husband D. Laurence Mawhinney; her sister Joan Marie (Lyall Murray); her daughters, Joan Elizabeth and Patricia Lynn "Tish"; and her granddaughter Rachel Ann.

She is survived by: her children, David, Michael (Selena Martell), Alison (Ian Marshall) and Suzanne (Dan Rudolf); her grandchildren, Justin, Renee, Zachary of Lexie, AJ, Hanna and Paige; her sister-in-law Dorothea; her niece Helen; and her nephews, Wallace and Donald.
