She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Heighton and Mabel Heighton (Doyle); her brother Barry Heighton; and her niece Nicole. She is survived by: her close friend Gordie Hunter; her son Mark (Nicky) of High River, Alberta; her grandchildren, Tessa, Alicia, Emma, Sara (Logan), Amber (Mike) and Zach; and her brothers, Gary (Janice), Meadowville, Glen (Cathy) of Pictou and Brian (Janice) of Hardwood Hill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
