He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gerry (Sharon), John and Kath (Sandy). He is survived by: his wife Ruby; his son Shawn; his daughter-in-law Karen; and his granddaughter Emily. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Unfortunately, he was stricken in 2020 with Parkinson's Disorder.
