He was predeceased by: his parent James Gollan; his children, Troy and Annette; his siblings, Donald "Bob", David, Lloyd, Angus, George, Jessie Langille, Lilly Schooly (Farrel) and Zelna Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Liz Gollan, Gordon "Toot" Langille, James Patterson, Rod Farrel, Bill Schooly, Gerald Johnson and Charles "Bugs" Elliott.
He is survived by: his spouse Gayle Gollan (Rafuse); his parent Roseanna Gollan (Holmes); his daughter Marcy Elliott (Charles); his grandchildren, Samuel Elliott and Olivia Elliott; and his sisters, Irene Patterson, Laura Elliott and Valerie Langille (Bobbie).
Memorial donations can be made to Willow Lodge Home for Special Care, Tatamagouche, where he resided for the last two months and to Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital where Charles received care in his life and support in his death.
