She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Boudreau and Violet Boudreau (Britten); her husband Olafur'Oli'Egilsson; her son Michael Joseph; her brother Carl Boudreau; and her brother-in-law Bernard'Bernie'Samson.

She is survived by: her children, Greg (Brenda), Julie (Blair Battist), Mary Lou (Allan Samson) and Daphne (Scott Leonard); her sisters, Pauline Benoit (Phil) and Eula Samson (Bingo); and her sister-in-law Lucille Boudreau of Petit de Grat. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pictou County Palliative Care Society or a charity of choice.
