He was predeceased by: his parents, George Munroe and Annie Munroe (Williams); and his siblings, Shirley, Nellie, Hattie, Edith, Wilda, Clayton, Russell, Carl, Sanford, Emmett and Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Munroe (Pettipas); his children, Donna Gillis (Tim) and Kevin Munroe (Cindy); his grandchildren, Owen (Jess), Zack (Maria), Ethan, Nick, Abbey, Cameron, Baillie and Samantha (Sandy); his sister Ethel Munroe; and his nieces and nephews, Eileen, Tanya, Tina, Maggie, Bruce and Sonny.
Campbell made many donations over the years. Monetary donations can be made to the Pictou County Palliative Care Society.
