She was predeceased by: her parents, John Russell and Isabel MacDonald. She is survived by: her husband Floyd; her children, Laurie, Paul, Jeanette and Rose; her grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha, Ocean, Asia, Tyler, Alex and Kyle; and her siblings, Katherine, Barbara, Yvonne (Brian), Eileen (Bill) and Jackie. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Pictou County SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society.
