He was predeceased by: his brothers, Donald and Allan. He is survived by: his spouse Ruth Warrell; his children, Elizabeth MacKay, William MacKay (Staci), Ian MacKay (Judy) and Kathleen Walker (Cullen); his grandchildren, Alex MacKay (Megan), Rachel MacKay, Connor MacKay of Kendall MacKay, Elizabeth Stoll (Kevin) and John Walker (Ali); and his great grandchildren, Carrington Stoll and Colette Stoll. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephew.
