He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Patterson and Pearl (Winters); and his siblings, Charles and Donna Darlene. He is survived by: his stepparent Geordie MacKay; his close friend Bonnie Redmond; and his siblings, Robert, Alfred, Chester, Carol, Phyllis and Maryann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and 2 great-great nephews.
