We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2018, Irene B Gilbert (Parrsboro, Nova Scotia), born in Advocate Harbour, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Maxwell; and her brothers, Victor of Lawrence and Dean. She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Sterling of Parrsboro and Andrea Yorke of Parrsboro; her grandsons, Craig (Natasha), Andrew (Darcy), Chris Sterling (Angela), Ryan Yorke (Sue) and Jake Yorke (Gillian); and her great grandchildren, Molly, Alexandra, Leigh Sterling, Maxwell Yorke and Elizabeth "Libby" Yorke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada or to the Adult Day Care Program of South Cumberland Community Care Centre.
