He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilfred Ellis and Elsie Ellis (Bickle); his children, Michael Mills (Terry), David Ellis (Kim), Stan Jr., Cheryl Little (Kevin) and Lynda Smith (Barry); his grandchildren, Tracey, Richard, Michelle, Milissa, James, Matthew, Tim, Dylan, Chris, Renae, Jill, Alyson, Adam, Anthony and Trevor E.; his siblings, James "Fred" (Marta), Springhill, Roy, Elaine MacDonald (George) of Pugwash, Jean Ripley (Gerald) and Kanata; his wife Irene Ellis (Mills); his sons, Percy Edward and Richard Charles Ellis; and his brother Richard.
