He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gollan and Abbie Gollan (Sutherland); his brother-in-law Greg Brown; his siblings, Manceal, Edna (Hap Day) and Audrey (Jackie MacLeod); his brother-in-law Willis Langille; and his niece Yvonne Watt.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Brown); his daughter Stacy Gollan (Allan MacKinnon); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Evan Cooke) and Ryan; his sisters, Verna Chesney (Gord), Jean Langille, Seafoam, Mary McGinnis (Glenn) and Phoenix; and also John McKay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
