He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Smith and Margaret Smith (Miller); and his brothers, Ernie, Leo, Delbert, Frederick "Junior" and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his fiancée Corrine Lockhart; his children, Jennifer Morrison (James), Johnny (Sabrina) and Nathan (Anna); and his sisters, June Longshaw and Betty Froebe (Frank). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium (5075 Main St, Oxford, NS B0M1P0).
