Marie Chapman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Chapman of Oxford, Nova Scotia, born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rushton and Marguerite Rushton (Austin); her brother Robert Rushton; and her siblings-in-law, Rouie Rushton, Vicky Rushton, Ace Boss and Dick Foster.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry of Gordon's Greenhouse; her children, Caroline Sears (Floyd) and Ross (Shandi); her grandchildren, Justin, Matthew, Kendra Sears, Ella and Austin Chapman; and her siblings, Allan Rushton, Carolyn Rushton, Hannah Boss-Foster and Mary Lou Phalen (Pat).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Oxford Pioneer Heritage Club (31 Ellis St, Oxford, NS B0M1P0).
