He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alton and Nina Mae Stewart (Dixon); his nephew Chris Stewart; and his niece Faye Stewart. He is survived by: his siblings, Lee Stewart (Phyllis) of Oxford and Margaret Smith Springhill (Wayne); and his close friend Barbara Bates. He is also survived by her family and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
