She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Rushton and Laura "Maude" Rushton (Payne); her significant other Louise Bernard; her siblings, Junior, Bardena, Ferne and Carol; and also Austin.

She is survived by: her brothers, James "Jim" (Lillian) and Dwain (Carolyn); her nephew Dave Irving (Trish); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan, Coltan (Bev), Dylan (Courtney), Kenzie and Blake.
