Karen Burchell Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Burchell (Oxford, Nova Scotia), born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 14, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers-in-law, George Burchell, Marinus van of Sande and Bill Chaban. She is survived by: her daughters, Thomas and Margaret MacIntyre (Stevenson); her husband John; her children, Christopher (Melanie) and Shannon Lloy (Elijah); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Narayana, Marek and Aran; her sisters, Jane van of Sande, Truro, Linda Brown (Hugh) and Noreen Lavallee (Yvon) of Beaconsfield, QC; and her sister-in-law Grace Chaban. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

No flowers by request. Donations may be made in Karen's name to either the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Foundation.
