He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carroll and Kathleen Carroll (Hartnett); his daughter Stephanie; and his brother Francis. He is survived by: his wife Joanne (Doucette); his children, Liam (Kerry), Saskatoon, Shane (Tracey), Sackville, Chris (Sarah), Riverview, Melanie (Kevin), Miramichi, Danielle (Jay) and Melrose; his grandchildren, Rebecca (Cole), Brendan, Shaelyn, Spencer, Alex, Justin, Taylor, Rory, Vanessa, Sara, Easton and Olivia; and his great grandchildren, Parker and Conor.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a funeral service for Ted will take place at a later date this summer to be announced.
