John Burchell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Burchell (Oxford, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 6, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Burchell and Helen Burchell (MacLeod); his wife Karen; his brother George Burchell; and his brothers-in-law, Marinus van of Sande and Bill Chaban.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher (Melanie) and Shannon Lloy (Elijah); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Narayana, Marek and Aran; his sister Grace Chaban; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Brown (Hugh), Noreen Lavalee (Yvon) and Jane van of Sande, Truro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
No flowers by request. Donations may be made in John's name to either the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Foundation.
