She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Black and Annie Black (Mitchell); her husband Don Wallace; her son Todd Wallace; and her siblings, Neita Smith, Marjorie Victor, Shirley Black, Bert Black and John Black.

She is survived by: her son Troy Wallace (Angela) of Lawrencetown; her siblings, Emma Henderson (Ed) of Little River and Rufus Black (Florence) of Oxford; and her sister-in-law Gloria Black of Little River. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the MacDiarmid's Funeral Home & Crematorium (5075 Main St, Oxford, NS B0M1P0). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Birch Grove Cemetery (Oxford, NS B0M1P0).
