He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Munroe and Irene Munroe (Davis); his former wife Harriet (MacDonald); and his siblings, Jim, Grace Munroe and Helen Irving.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his stepson Lloyd (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Shane, Kristi Rahemtulla (Zaheer) and Keelie Humphries (Terry); his great grandchildren, Maliyah and Kaden; and his siblings, Jean MacLean and Ian Munroe.
