He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Jennings and Dorothy "Dolly" Jennings (Leben); his wife Patricia "Sally" Dexter; his son Michael; his grandson James "Jamie" Gibbs; and his brothers, Jack, Wallace and Keith.

He is survived by: his children, Stephen (Brenda), Nancy Winkler (Tim), Susan Vessey (Chris), Ann Hansford (Ken) and Jason; and his brother Eric (Priscilla). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren and several step children.
