He was predeceased by: his parent Winston Fury; and his siblings, Ronald, Keith, David, Alma, Marilyn, Gail and Kimberley.

He is survived by: his parent Alice Fury (Tingley); his spouse Donna; his children, Rick Fury (Kathy Dowd), Tammy Fury, Memramcook Fury and Rod Fury (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Natalie Davison (Ryan), George, Cassandra and Corey; his great grandchildren, Jack, George and Alexis; his siblings, Winston (Marion), Donald, Brian (Sandra), Kenneth (Sunday), Doris Jones, Vera-Lynn Strathearn (Mark), Heather Robichaud and Susan Pauley (Duane); and his siblings-in-law, Robert Acton, Wendell Stiles, Donald Coates, Terry Bird and Linda Fury. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of George may be made to the Point de Bute Cemetery, Friends of the Moncton Hospital or a charity of the Donor's Choice.
